Christmas at Block & Bottle - what we do and how to order your perfect Christmas dinner

What we do
Whether you want a a joint of beef, pork, lamb, poultry or game, we have you covered. We buy whole carcasses and hang all our meat ourselves which means we can do pretty much any joint or cut you wish.
How to Order
Please note all orders are for collection only. When you place your order you will be given an order reference number. Please keep this very safe as you will need it when you come to collect your order. If you are ordering a turkey, goose, cockerel, rooster, or some of the fantastic French birds you will need to pay a deposit in store.

There are TWO ways to place your Christmas order:
IN PERSON - at our shop in Heaton (the preferred method, especially if you want a turkey, goose, cockerel, rooster or French bird as you need to pay a deposit)
BY PHONE - Call us on 0191 265 7955 and we can discuss and take your order.

Christmas order collection dates:
Sunday 21st December 10am-4pm
Monday 22nd December 9am to 5pm
Tuesday 23rd December 9am to 5pm
Wednesday 24th December 9am to 2pm
New Year order collection dates:
Tuesday 30th December 9am to 5pm
Wednesday 31st December 9am to 5pm
Christmas MEAT
As well as all our usual delicious meat, we also do a number of special items for Christmas which are listed below, if there is something specific you are after that is not on our list please give us a call on 0191 265 7955 and we will see what we can do.
BEEF
Why not change from the usual turkey and get a beautiful Rolled Sirloin for the centre of your table! All our beef is grass fed and dry aged with Himalayan Salt for a minimum of 30 days to produce a buttery smooth texture and sumptuous flavour.

French Poultry:
All our French poultry is “éfillé” meaning that the bird has been plucked and the intestine removed. The”noble" organs - heart, gizzard and liver remain inside, and the head and feet are attached to allow for the birds to be hung for a longer period of time - we will of course fully prep these for you if you wish.

GAMMONS (UNCOOKED HAMS) & TERRINES
- Unsmoked Bone In Gammon
- Unsmoked Boneless Gammon
- Smoked Bone In Gammon
- Smoked Boneless Gammon
- Ham Hock, Honey & Mustard Terrine - sold by weight but we also offer, half terrines (approx 600g - 6 servings), and whole terrines (approx 1.2kg - 12 servings)
CHRISTMAS EXTRAS
- Sausage Meat Stuffing 450g sleeve (available in the following flavours: Plain Pork / Sage & Onion / Apricot, Cranberry and Orange)
- Pigs In Blankets (10 per pack - approx 500g)
- THE MEGA PIB!! aka the half kilo big pig in a blanket….a sage & onion sausage swirl wrapped in streaky bacon (approx 500g)
